Today was a very special day with the christening of our new 8+, the Drew Holman.
Drew was recognised for his outstanding contribution to CRC not only as head coach, but additionally as an athlete and as a clubman. Drew has been nothing short of transformative, building a highly successful, inclusive, and community oriented program that has gone from strength to strength. In addition to this, he’s casually rebuilt half the shed and transformed the fleet. More than anything, he’s a deadset legend, and we couldn’t be happier to be able to give him this honour today.

We also officially welcomed four more boats to our fleet:
Olympia - a coxless four/quad that was once rowed at the Beijing Olympics!
Gizmo - a tub four for our beginners and recreation squad
Geminus & Hera - two pairs/doubles that will definitely be well utilised by our competition squad
A special thanks to all our members who chip in to help our many fundraining events to make this happen, and to the rowing community who support CRC hosted regattas.
