National Water Sports Centre

The National Water Sports Centre

The National Water Sports Centre was originally developed in 1988 in preparation for the 1996 Olympic Games, for which Melbourne’s bid was unsuccessful. Today, the 2000m rowing course is managed by Parks Victoria. Carrum Rowing Club shares the waterway with other regular users and external hirers of the facility.

Access is restricted as per the timetable below:

* Shared use with powered vessels from 1 to 1000m mark and rowers from 1000m mark to jetty.

More information on the NWSC and the rules of use are available at the Parks Victoria website.
