Carrum Rowing Club is the home of community rowing in South-East Melbourne.

We offer the opportunity for all members of the community to enjoy the sport of rowing both recreationally and competitively. We cater to rowers from ages 13+, and have vibrant junior, senior and masters rowing programs.

As a community club, we are able to provide access to the sport for people who may not have the opportunity to row at school or university. Members of all ages and skill levels are welcome and we are proud to provide a development pathway from absolute beginner through to rowing at representative level.

Interested in joining?

Whether you're an absolute beginner or an experienced rower, we'd love to invite you into our rowing community! Click here for more information.

Where to find us - the National Water Sports Centre

The easiest way to get to the NWSC is through Chelsea Heights on Thames Promenade (accessed from Wells Rd or the Mornington Peninsula Freeway), turn right down Riverend Road until you see the National Water Sports Centre signage. Turn right and head to the main building at the end. The Carrum Boat Shed is the roller door closest to the freeway.

Carrum Rowing Club respectfully acknowledge the Bunurong people of the South-East Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land and waterway we now call the National Water Sports Centre.
